PREPARE:

Rinse fresh figs in cool water and pat dry with a paper towel or kitchen towel. Twist off stems with fingertips.

WAYS TO EAT:

  • Eat fresh figs like you would an apple.
  • Slice and add to salads.
  • Roast:
    • Cut in half and place on a baking sheet.
    • Roast at 350 for 20-25 mins.
    • Add to pizza, pasta dishes and quesadillas.
    • Drizzle roasted figs with honey for a sweet treat.
  • Eat dried figs raw or add to trail mix.
  • Chop up fresh or dried figs and add to oatmeal, granola or yogurt.
