PREPARE:

Buy chia seeds packaged or from bulk bins.

WAYS TO EAT:

  • Sprinkle chia seeds:
    • On toast and nut butter.
    • On peanut butter sandwiches.
  • Add a scoop of chia seeds to smoothies and oatmeal.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of chia seeds with 3 tablespoons water and use as an egg replacement in baked goods.
  • Use instead of breadcrumbs.
  • Add chia to a healthy beverage and drink up.
